Villa ARTE is set in a quiet part of BOROVETS resort in old pine woods in Rila mountain, hidden from the daily noise and commotion, at an altitude of 1250 m, only 70 km southeast of Sofia.
The villa is erected 1941 from the famous Bulgarian architect Bitchev, who succeeded, as Antonio Gaudi did in Spain, to create an esthetical unity from the doorhandle to the fireplace.
At that time the impressive wall painting was created by the famous Bulgarian artist Prof. Obreshkov.
In 1944 the first meeting of the Bulgarian high ranking anti Nazi politicians took place in the house, which was the initiated begin of negotiations with the allied forces.
The villa accommodates up to 14 guests.
